The Good Shepherd (Sermon Link)
For those at our morning service today, John mentioned a story and link during the sermon on Psalm 23:
Two young women had a great assurance of [God's presence] in January 1681 in Edinburgh. They had been imprisoned for their protestant faith and one day were led out to be hanged. As they made their way to the scaffold they sang the words of [Psalm 23] to comfort and encourage each other with their hope in God. "I will fear no evil, for you are with me."
Each one of us needs that strength of conviction and trust in the Lord - that no matter what comes your way, the Lord is with you.
