Floods have affected 75% of Queensland and many parts of NSW. People have perished and many are feared drowned. There is a huge impact on thousands of people whose homes have been flooded, whose businesses have been seriously affected, and who've lost family members. It will take a long time, a lot of effort, and much money to rebuild and start again.
Wollongong CRC wants to help the victims of these floods, and you can help in the following ways:

• Special Offering: WCRC will be holding a special collection for the victims of the flood during our morning service on Sunday 30th January. We encourage all present to give generously to this appeal. The money raised will be channeled through the CRCA's World Development & Relief Committee. • Pray: "The LORD sits enthroned over the flood; the LORD sits enthroned as king forever. May the LORD give strength to his people! May the LORD bless his people with peace!" (Ps 29:10-11). Please remember these people in your prayers as they go about the difficult process of rebuilding their homes, businesses, lives and families. Pray for guidance as the WDR Committee distributes the funds collected.
