This month, Kelsea Firestone will be travelling to India on a mission trip. Kelsea lets us know her plans below:

In January I will be heading off to India for two weeks to help at Hope Mission Home Orphanage with New Hope Church from Durango. We will be doing Dental, Medical, construction and children's ministry again. So I need you all to partner with me in prayer before I go and during the trip. We will be doing Christmas again with the kids. I am so excited! I absolutely love those little Indian kids! We will be bringing christmas gifts for 200 children. It is absolutely amazing to watch them open their gifts. They are so very thankful and overwhelmed. Amazing.

On my last trip in July we were able to share the gospel through drama and evangelizing at a few very new churches in the middle of crowded neighborhoods. God just opened the door for us and we are praying for similar opportunities in January. We had people ask for prayer and seeds were planted. This year we are teaching some of the other kids the dramas and they will perform it when we go out into the town.
Pray that Gods word will not come back void.

Please keep Kelsea and the team in your prayers as they travel, and pray that God will use them to glorify his name and spread his word in India.

Garage Sale

Kelsea will be holding a garage sale to raise funds for her trip
The garage sale will be held on Saturday 7 January 2012 from 8am. It will be held in the driveway of the Manse (around the corner from the Church building on Carters Lane).
