Soccer Returns

Well it has been a very long time between games. Two representative weekends and bad weather has resulted in our teams playing no games over the past 4 weeks.

This weekend shall see the return of both of our teams to the soccer fields to undertake Round 11. For our premier division side, this weekend will be their final game before the 2010 draw goes back to the beginning, giving all teams a chance to play each other for a 2nd time this season.

This weekend, Saturday 19th June, our B team will be taking on the Corrimal Catholics, whilst our A team will be taking on Wollongong Baptist A's.

Both games will be played at Thomas Dalton Park (across the road from our church).

Division 1 will kick off at 1pm and Premier Division will kick off at 3pm. Read more »

Soccer Update

Well last week saw both our teams, and their supporters, withstand some windy and icy conditions at Thomas Dalton Park as we took on Concrete Innovative. We've had a couple of people ask who Concrete Innovative are- Concrete are a relatively new team to the church league and are a church that is partnered with International Apostolic Ministries. The church is located in Coniston and has a weekly 10am Sunday service.

Our Reformed B's had a 1-1 draw while the Reformed A's were also also lucky to come away with a 2-2 draw. Reformed B's are now sitting at 5th position on the First Division ladder and Reformed A's are also currently sitting at 5th position on the Premier Division ladder.
Well done to both teams!! Read more »
